A simple but handsome twin hemisphere map. Engraved by W. Barker who worked for Carey, Mathew, Guthrie and Payne. The explorations of Cook in the Pacific and Martin in the Indian Ocean are prominently shown. Alaska is starting to take form, Tasmania is still attached to Australia, and the Sandwich islands are shown, as is all of New Zealand. Some light offsetting and foxing, else very good.
