Continental map which shows an interesting, personal history. A previous owner has drawn in additions to the map to fill in blank areas as additional information was rapidly made public in the mid nineteenth century. These are written in a brown ink, and include notes in the bottom margin. The printed map actually contains fine detail for the extent of knowledge at the time of publication. Light scattered foxing.
