Scarce copper engraved view of a royal procession from a Vue d'Optique. The engraving was designed to be viewed in a special apparatus that gave the view a strong 3-D impression. The title at top is engraved in reverse and another title in engraved at bottom for use outside the viewer. These prints were only produced for a short period of time, as they were replaced with the smaller steroviewer. A bit of light spotting, mostly affecting the margins.
