Two soft cover booklets for cartographic exhibitions. First is a guide to a travelling exhibition compiled by J.B. Harley and published by the Golda Meir Library. 1990. 149pp with many illustrations and detailed text on the world before Columbus, the route to the Indies, world maps & globes of the time, and colonial cartographers. Includes an extensive bibliography. Second was compiled by the French Colonial Historical Society and Newberry Library (1987). It contains extensive information on the explorations of La Salle, illustrated by both maps and documents. 22 pp. Both very good with only minor shelf wear.
