A lovely view of a wide, tree-lined, boulevard in the Hague, taken from the side of the Coucamp's bridge. The streets are filled with horse-drawn carriages, horsemen, and people. This was engraved for a Vue d'Optique, and designed to be viewed in a special apparatus that gave the view a strong 3-D impression. The title at top is engraved in reverse. The engraver is Basset. Damp stain in margins, just entering image at right.
