Striking front page colored wood engraving. Translation of the title is "America and the Yellow Danger - The mob besieging a shop owned by Asians in San Francisco". It shows an angry mob attacking a shop and wielding sticks and guns and carrying an American flag, while terrified Asians are barricaded inside the shop and ready to defend themselves with knives and guns. It is a poignant illustration. Paper toned and a bit fragile.
