Scarce vellum leaf printed in Gothic textura type with an illuminated capital in red, blue and gold. One side is either the beginning or ending page with a large oval medallion containing a view of Jesus and the apostles. The verso has surrounding scenes, which are iron engravings. Printed vellum Book of Hours leaves are very scarce, as they were only produced between 1496 and 1530. A very attractive and unusual sheet.
