Woodblock map of the three continents of the Old World with their principal cities and major geographical features. A bit of South America is shown in lower left, and a landmass is shown in the approximate location of Australia but marked "India Meridonalis". The oceans are fully engraved and dotted with sea monsters. Ref: Shirley #143. Strong impression of this curious, early map. Two fingernail size pieces of paper have been professionally replaced at centerfold with a tiny bit of facsimile to lettering.
