Copper engraved map of the fledgling United States, which is confined east of the Mississippi River. North Carolina is shown with its western border on the Tennesse River. Georgia encompasses all of the area to the Mississippi. Kentucky is an undefined region west of the Cumberland Mountains. The Western Terriotry occupies the land between the Ohio and the Mississippi rivers. Florida is still a Spanish possession and is named West and East Florida. Numerous Indian nations are shown and there is very little settlement in those areas. Color a bit faded and toned paper, overall very good.
