A fine map from this monumental work which was only issued in one edition. Each map covers an area of approximately 20 deg. of longitude (from Paris) and 6 deg. of latitude. This was the first atlas in which all maps are made on the same scale(1: 1,641,836). This map covers the area from the 72nd to 78th parallel, and from 50 to 70 deg. W. latitude. It shows Baffin's tracks along the Greenland coast with many interesting notes and the location of icepacks. A little chipping in wide margins, else fine.
