Very unusual double map, both set within an elaborate, picture-frame style, engraved border. The top map covers the entire Iberian peninsula. The bottom map covers only Portugal. Each is fully engraved with topographical and political features and both have decorative title cartouches. The map of Portugal's cartouche is very colorful with scenes of shipping, trading, fishing, and farming.
