A fascinating map of the region of the Eastern Mediterranean through Central Asia. The conquests of Alexander the Great are noted, as well as the travels of Apostle Paul. There are notations throughout the map, and most interestingly the "Seven Wonders of the Ancient World" are depicted with tiny vignettes. Table of French text above and below the map. Fine condition and color.
