From a scarce printed book of hours with numerous illuminated initials in red, blue and gold ink on both sides of the vellum sheet. The text is surrounded with engraved scenes of monsters and birds, and a scene of Jesus chasing the merchants from the temple. The Latin text is from the 98th psalm: The book of hours served as a devotional work containing various prayers and meditations appropriate to seasons, months, days of the week, and hours of the day.
