Set of 12 reproductions of famous maps of Canada. Beginning with De la Cosa's map of the world and ending with William Sax's 1829 map of Quebec, the maps present a condensed view of Canada's cartographic history. Each map is accompanied by a brief summary of the map's cartographer and historical importance. The maps themselves are loose sheets, missing the original box or slipcase. Pamphlet with description with minor soil to covers, maps all very clean and crisp.
