This sheet which has the appearance of a small title page is actually the verso of a piece trimmed from Munster's famous world map titled " Typus Orbis A. Ptol. Descriptus" The title and description in Latin text is surrounded by a woodcut illustration with the verso being the center left portion of the map. The map is in full old color and the title section has one small section colored and the balance uncolored. An interesting curiosity for the map collector. Minor damp stain.
