Printed by M. Giunta with Latin text in black and red. in two columns. A beautifully executed treatise on the official ceremonies of the Holy See in matters, both spiritual and temporal. From a time when the Vatican States were an important world power. The highly regarded printing house of Giunta was founded in 1482 by patriarch Lucantonio, called 'The Coryphaeur", or leader of printers. After his death in 1537, the business was carried on by his descendants in Italy, France, and Spain, well into the 17th century.
