Large, handsome copper engraved map of the Americas. The most prominent feature of North America is the large "Mer ou Bay de l'Ouest". The British colonies are confined to the eastern seaboard, France controls Louisiana, and Mexico and Florida are shown in the possession of Spain. Good detail throughout, including the emergence of several Pacific islands. Large landscape style title cartouche.
