An attractive map of the western half of the state. Covers the region from Mono Lake and Lake Tahoe north to above Goose Lake. Topographical features are nicely rendered in printed color by Julius Bien & Co. Railroads and a number of towns (Carson, Virginia, Ragtown, etc.) are shown. The lake was a quaternary lake in northeastern Nevada, with only remnants existing today. By Israel C. Russell.
