Fabulous eighteenth century map. The map is covered with detail and is impressive in that regard. However, it is the addition of a large inset of Brazil and exquisite (uncolored) title cartouche with Neptune, mermaids and cherubs, plus engravings of the Portuguese fleet, which make the map outstanding.

Old repair on centerfold, tiny marginal tears, and a few miniscule spots, still very good.
