Uncommon early 18th century English map of the region from India to Korea and Japan and south to include the East Indies. It is filled with interesting details and notations. The decorative title cartouche features a Chinese and Indian merchants, an elephant, and a leopard.

Needs professional conservation to repair a burn at top fold (with loss of 3/4" x 1/2" image) and another chip in bottom margin affecting only a tiny bit of the border. Overall paper is acidic and color slightly faded. Will be a lovely piece after some expert care.
