Detailed chart with new discoveries shown shaded. Includes much of New Guinea, New Ireland, and New Britain, but with no detail on land. New Guinea is also named Terra Di Papous. Locates Dampier's Passage, Endeavour Streights, volcanoes and more. It is interesting to note that Dyaul Island is here named Sandwich Island, in honor of Cook's patron, the Earle of Sanwich. Fancy scroll lettering in title cartouche.
