Great Ptolemaic map of north Africa on a trapezoidal projection with a stippled sea. The Mediterranean countries are illustrated up to Judea, with northern Africa as far as approximately 20 deg. South. The Nile has its beginning in the Mountains of the Moon and the Niger river is prominently featured in the west. Italian text on verso. .
