Scarce map covering the region from western Egypt to the "Bight of Biafra" off present day Cameroon. The map provides an excellent view of the known regions (primarily along the coasts and rivers). The interiors are crossed by the trade routes, and these are marked with dotted lines where questionable. The Arrowsmith family produced some of the best charts of Africa in the early 19th century.
