A fine pair of large maps, together covering the whole continent. Very detailed with many cities named and designating principal roads, railways, telegraph lines, rivers and natural features. Most interesting are the various interior exploration routes shown with dates and fascinating notations, such as "grass, flowers in bloom", "Undulating country with spinifex covered with brown gravel which becomes more solid to the west", and "attacked by natives".
