Copper engraved map on a polar projection showing all new discoveries in the region. Inset at left are two small maps: "Het Gezigt van t'Kaap der Besnydenis of Kaap Circoncision…" which was discovered in 1739, and "De Salomons Eilanden door F. Gallego".
