A handsome, large chart that explains the different theories of the solar system, according to Copernicus, Ticho Brahe and Ptolomy. There are numerous beautifully colored engravings of spheres and globes and diagrams of movements of the planets, including the moon and a solar eclipse. Several tables with French text explain the theories.
