An interesting hand colored map produced by J. Bien. It provides a clear picture of the railroads involved in the theatre of operations during the CIVIL WAR. The railroad tracks using a gauge of 5 ft., 4 ft. 8 1/2 in., and 5 ft. 6 in. are color coded. Large enough to easily track military operations and troop movements.

Issued folded and now pressed and backed with archival tissue. Light toning along some folds, still very good example of this map.
