Superb title page to Peter Heylyn's "Cosmographie". This edition is by Anae Seile, one of the few women publishers of the 17th century. The page is richly engraved by Robert Vaughan with the female representations of Earth and Water at top, and both male and female representations of the continents flanking the title. Further engraving include an elephant, lion, globe, armillary sphere, a dove, and a fruit garland.
