Beautiful map was based on Speed's map of Ireland and geographically nearly identical. The decorative elements consist of three elaborate cartouches; the royal British coat of arms, the title enclosed in a strapwork framework with the Irish coat of arms and a fruit garland, and the distance scale flanked by two putti. An attractive example of the map, with one corner of the margin replaced professionally and minor show through of German text on verso.

The map appears to have original color, enhanced when the repair was done.
