Extremely fine impression of this interesting map of the continent and islands of Asia. The outline of Asia follows the Mercator-Hondius prototype with two unidentified landmasses appearing in the upper right corner. Numerous placenames appear throughout the East Indies. The map was engraved by John Goddard for Anae Seile who continued her late husband's publishing business. Strapwork title cartouche, two sailing ships, and an elephant in China decorate the map.
