Attractive map of the regions from the Black and Caspian seas through Mongolia. The map is neatly engraved with mountains, rivers, forests, and cities, and is decorated with a pictorial cartouche featuring the indigenous people. Two overland trade routes are shown.

Bottom margin is close to the platemark, apparently as issued. Tissue repair in margin. Very crisp impression.
