Vellum leaf from the Compline, the prayers to be said at the end of the day prior to going to bed. The Gothic text is in brown ink with rubrics in red ink and the rector includes three 2-line initials in red, blue and burnished gold. Verso includes one initial, which appears to be unfinished. This is most likely the work of an apprentice scribe who was still struggling to learn the techniques of illumination.
