Fine example of the combination of early printing and illumination by one of the greatest early printers whose workshop was located near Notre Dame. The Latin text is flanked by a border of delicate acanthus leaves and flowers painted in mauve, blue, green, red and liquid gold. The text is from Psalms 101, 129 and 142 and includes more than 40 decorative initials and line fillers in red, blue and gold.
