Based on a map by Pierre Lapie, this Italian version presents a nice view of the extent of knowledge at the beginning of the 19th century. Alaska is approximately the correct shape with a few Russian villages shown. The west is bisected by a large mountain range and several rivers are shown with dotted lines. Simple garland style title cartouche.
