Great sheet from an early edition of this atlas. Fine and detailed steel engraving by Sidney Hall extends beyond the Mississippi to show Missouri, Arkansas and Louisiana. Wisconsin with odd western boundary that follows the Mississippi River above Fort S. Anthony and ends at Lake of the Woods. Very detailed with hundreds of small roads and villages shown. A terrific example of this map with delicate precisely applied outline color.
