Scarce, large bird's eye view of the Chesapeake Bay with Baltimore, Washington, Fredricksburg, Richmond, Petersburg, Suffolk and Portsmouth prominently featured. This unique combination of map and view provides a fascinating view of the region during the Civil War with roads and sea routes shown. Two-color lithograph, linen backed, with script titles.

Some creases, light soil and minor foxing in margins. Ten inch crack into image at left, separating paper but not the linen.
