A splendid bird's eye view of the medieval fortified city. The city is perfectly laid-out in the shape of nine-sided star with a moat, high walls and batteries. The orderly city streets radiate out from a central cathedral and community well. The corners of the map contain medallions and strapwork cartouches to provide a balanced composition to the perfect city plan.

Map has been trimmed to neatlines and remargined all around with a sturdy, lighter toned paper. There is a bit of color offsetting along the centerfold, but color appears to be old.
