A very graphic map of the ancient Kingdom of Valencia in Ortelius' strong engraving style with a stipple engraved sea and cursive lettering for 'Maris Mediterranei Pars'. Beautifully decorated with three elaborate, strapwork cartouches and two large ships. Latin text on verso with page number 19 indicating the map was published between 1601 and 1609.

Condition: A

Crisp impression with a tiny spot of brown ink in cartouche, overall very good.
