Interesting map of the Eastern Mediterranean originated by Nicolas Sanson and published in a Dutch Bible. The map presents a record of the travels of the Apostle Paul and is devoid of detail except for topography and those places visited during the journey from Jerusalem to Rome. Large inset plan of Jerusalem and decorative title cartouche flanked by Solomon and a high priest. Attractive original outline color in map and fully colored plan and cartouche.

Folds as issued and now pressed. Tiny tear entering top border, repaired with archival tape, overall very good.
