Handsome hand-colored lithograph from the first edition of this important work. The view features a family of buffalo in the foreground with the large herd grazing on the rolling hills in the background. The original text and a photocopy of the title page is included. Lithographed and colored by the famous firm of J.T. Bowen.

Minor foxing in margins, some affecting title and edge of print, but overall very good with bright original color.
