Complete atlas that was never bound. Instead, the covers and all signatures have been drilled with six holes that were apparently tied with ribbon as some fragments of the fabric still exist. Each signature is complete and stapled. The atlas is in very good condition with all maps present. Double page maps are not continuous. The single page maps have indexes at the sides, with some indexes slightly affected by the drilled holes, but well outside the map neatlines. A very interesting atlas configuration we've not seen before.
