A handsome map of the kingdom of the Christian king Prester John, in which he is depicted sitting in his throne at the heart of the map. Fully engraved with prominent mountain ranges, rivers and lakes and a stipple engraved sea.

Strong impression and color. Splits on folds with the one at bottom entering map about one inch.
