A handsome, large chart that explains the different theories of the solar system, according to Copernicus, Tycho Brahe and Ptolemy. There are numerous engravings of spheres and globes and diagrams of planetary movements, including the moon, the sun, and a solar eclipse. Several tables with French text explain the theories.
