Delightful miniature map derived from Duval's nearly identical map, which was in turn based on Sanson's "La Floride" (1657). Several rivers dominate the confused Mississippi valley, the largest being Rio del Spiritu S.to. Caroline is named at Port Royal, and the French claim to the region is noted Floride Francoise. Title in wreath style cartouche.
