Linen-backed folding map in two parts: the eastern and western ends of the Mediterranean respectively. The first extending from the heel of Italy to the western edge of Persia, and from the Crimea to Cairo; the second extend from the town of Morocco to Bari in Italy, from near Lyon in France to southern Algeria. The maps are hand-colored and particularly show water depths, submarine telegraph cables in the Mediterranean and the Black Sea and coastal ports. Folding into cloth covered boards with paper labels.
