Graphic map from a Dutch Bible depicting the land of Canaan. The map is surrounded by fifteen vignettes containing Biblical scenes, including the birth and crucifixion of Christ. The map is nicely detailed and is decorated with a strapwork title cartouche, sailing ship and a compass rose.

Expert repairs of centerfold, including a couple of tiny lines of facsimile and complete restoration of both side margins with facsimile of about 1/4" of the engraving - all superbly done.
