A fine copper engraved map of the Holy Land. This is a reduced version of Plancius' earlier map without the side panel scenes. Panels at top and bottom include six vignettes of scenes from the New Testament, including the crucifixion at the top. A very decorative and uncommon map. A few very minor spots in margins, overall fine condition.

Minor toning and foxing in margins and a couple of small tears in lower margin, repaired with archival tape.
