Small woodblock map of the continent on a page of Latin text with a small illustration of the volcano Mt. Etna at top. The map depicts the Nile's origins in twin lakes located near the "Motes Lunae". It excludes the Horn of Africa and the Cape of Good Hope, but many kingdoms of central and north Africa are shown. On verso is a fine illustration of the exotic wildlife of the continent.
