Pair of large double page folio steel engraved maps. The continental map is colored to show the various colonial possessions and is an excellent example of the extent of European knowledge in the mid 19th century with a large blank center region. Large pair of maps with good impression and coloring.

References:

Condition: A

Both are very good with a couple of marginal tears. Algeria has small spot, Africa has one repaired tear.
