Interesting scene of Sir Francis Drake being crowned by the natives as King of New Albion near San Francisco. Engraved on a full sheet of English text (10 x 16") providing a fascinating tale of Drake's encounter with the natives and the marker he left behind as claim of the territory in the name of Queen Elizabeth. Accompanied by a photocopy of the title page.
